Ziele
By the end of the course the students will have developed a theoretical and practical understanding of the purpose and content of a global core strategy, the decisions to be taken, various tools to be applied and processes of strategy formation.
Students will also have strengthened their decision-making and presentation skills.
Lehrinhalte
Starting from an analysis of case companies' core strategies participants learn how to develop and implement internationally applicable core strategies for their businesses based on differentiating capabilities. The participants discuss their companies intended global strategic position, the rules of business behavior and resource allocation in the light of literature and experiences of other participants.
