The students have a basic understanding of the basic structures of the legal system and the legal framework of the economy. They have knowledge of the enforcement of subjective rights related to companies. They have an overview of important areas of commercial administrative law.

  • LO1: Basics of law (law, legal system, national and Union legal sources, introduction to methodology, basics of procedural law and legal protection)

  • LO3: Selected areas of economic administrative law (e.g. commercial law, building and spatial planning law, environmental administrative law, procurement law, subsidy law)
Criteria for evaluation In any case, a written exam (and/or homework) and a follow-up exam consisting of different types of questions (multiple choice questions and/or open questions) are offered. After completing the course exam, students will be given access to a comprehensive solution outline.
Methods The course is held in person to enable direct exchange with the lecturer. Depending on the topic being discussed, there will be alternating lectures and joint solving of example cases and/or short group work.
In addition, supporting teaching materials (such as worksheets, practice tests, mock exams, etc.) can be made available via Moodle and an online question forum can be offered, which is supervised by the lecturer.
