Objectives |
This is an exercise course which accompanies the lecture Fluid Dynamics 1. After successfully engaging with the topics of this course, students will be able to apply potential flow theory, the theory of singularity methods and wing theory, covered in the lecture, to practical calculation examples.
The level of mathematical modeling and analysis of the mentioned topics is comparable to the level of the textbooks: Spurk, Strömungslehre, Springer 2007 und Schlichting, Truckenbrodt, Aerodynamik des Flugzeuges, Spring 2001.
|
Subject |
- aerodynamics of incompressible fluids
- basic equations and vortex theorems
