Ziele
(*)Instructive and practically relevant exercises to familiarize the students with the concepts and the most important experimental and theoretical techniques in surface science.
Lehrinhalte
(*)As in the course, the exercises cover the following topics: 1) Electronic properties of surfaces, 2) Dynamical properties (phonons and adsorbate-vibrations), 3) Thermodynamics of surfaces and thin films, 4) Adsorption and desorption, 5) Diffusion and growth on surfaces.
