Objectives The students master methods and tools of a specific field of Business Information Systems and are able to develop appropriate solutions for theoretical and practical problems.
Subject The course content and topics reflect the current state-of-the-art and trends in research and practice of Business Information Systems.
Criteria for evaluation Quality of presentation; active participation in the discussion of seminar topics; quality of term paper (bachelor thesis).
Methods Scientific work on a topic in business informatics und writing of a bachelor thesis. The students results are presented and thoroughly discussed in the course.
Language German
Study material The required reading focuses on the individually selected topics of bachelor theses. Students are allowed access to common Digital Libraries (e.g., ACM, IEEE and SpringerLink), and may also utilize the reference libraries of the Departments of Business Information Systems.
