Objectives Gain the ability for model based system layout and simulation of simple fluid power systems
Subject
  • Physically based mathematical modelling for fluid power systems
    • compressiblity and pressure build-up in liquids
    • hydraulic resistance of pipes, throttles, orifices, valves
    • coupling of hydraulic models with solid body equations of motion
  • Implementation of models in commercial simulation software
    • MATLAB/Simulink as an example
    • basic understanding of time integration algorithms
  • parameterization of models
    • from data sheet information
    • by additional measuremetns and paramter identification
