Objectives |
This course is designed to help students
- understand Process Writing by practicing planning, drafting, revising, editing an academic paper
- deal with various registers and styles in written English
- understand the difference between popular, academic, and business writing
- evaluate and use resources in writing
- expand their vocabulary
- learn revision and exam writing strategies
- practice self-evaluation and reflective writing

Criteria for evaluation |
The grade in this course is a composite of all work in class and on weekly written assignments, paper presentation and poster (50%) and a 2000-2500 word topic paper (50%).
