Objectives Students are familiar with the strategic, administrative and operational tasks and methods relevant for information management. They are therefore capable to take responsibility for IT management tasks at mid-management level. They know management tools used for planning, monitoring, and controlling effectiveness and efficiency of IT. Students have the personal and social skills that can be expected from any IT executive.

The content is conveyed in the form of an interactive lecture based on discussions and case studies with guest lectures which is accompanied and supplemented by a classroom exercise. The theoretical lecture contents and recordings are available online at Lectures and exercises are coordinated with each other and should therefore be attended in the same semester. Based on the lecture material, exercises are to be solved and presented in group works within the classroom exercise course.
