Subject This course covers the following topics: Summary of state of the art sensor principles Properties of sensors and sensor systems Defining the terms sensor and transducer Acoustic, optical, mechanical, magnetic, electrical and thermic sensors Reciprocal effect when acting as an actuator Piezoeletrical sensors and actuators Applications of sensor and actuator types Mathematical and physical explanation and derivation of coherences
