Detailed information
Original study plan Master's programme Management in Polymer Technologies (MPT) 2010W
Objectives (*)The graduates of the bachelor study program "Polymer Engineering and Technologies" and graduates of other universities with polymer engineering and science background can use the offer of this "Complementary Group of Courses" for deepen and strengthten their knowledges in natural sciences (mathematics, chemistry and physics) and in other engineering sciences (mechatronics). The wide variety of courses allows for selecting complementary courses in sum of 18 ECTS from these fields to support highly specialized "tailor made" personal development in natural and engineering sciences.
Subject (*)This course group contains courses covering the following subjects:

  • selected topics of mathematics (e.g., inverse methods, mathematical methods of continuum mechanics)
  • selected topics of natural sciences, physics (e.g., physics of soft materials, surface physics) and chemistry (analytical, organic and physical chemistry, biological materials) and
  • selected topics of mechatronics (e.g., measurement technique, signal processing and hydraulics).
Further information (*)This course group is mandatory for students with polymer science and technology background.
