Objectives Students will acquire skills in the medial preparation of history and be introduced to base concepts in historical documentation and preservation. The course includes discussions on various projects under an intense examination of history and will convey alternative access to history of the 20th century.
Subject The course will provide an introduction to the complexities of historical documentation and historical preservation, conveying basic concepts and skills in the acquisition, archival storage, and media presentation of commemorative testimony (using locally available artistic and didactic concepts in conveying recent history). The course will focus on various cases, particularly National Socialism, as an on-hands exemplary case study.
Criteria for evaluation Grading will be based on successful completion of a written test as course examination or successful completion of a homework assignment
Methods Lecture; A reading compendium will be made available for students to prepare for class beforehand in order to discuss topics in depth; E-learning elements will be included to improve communication with students; excursions
