| Objectives |
Students are familiar with (syntax-independent) modern methods of programming. They have basic knowledge in developing algorithms and are capable of object-oriented programming.
Students know architectural concepts of database systems and fundamental concepts of their design process. They know query languages and are familiar with problems and techniques of access protection.
Students can apply statistical software
for data analysis. They know how to extend software by own functions and can conceptualise and perform simulation studies.
