Objectives Students learn to develop a process-oriented perspective on knowledge-based organizations. In this context, methods, tools, and practical cases are introduced to gain a better understanding of process-oriented (knowledge-based) organizations. In particular, students are able to evaluate business processes with respect to certain metrics, such as time, costs, and quality.
Subject Visualization and evaluation of business processes; Modeling and optimization of business processes; Methods and tool of business process management; Process-oriented knowledge management.
Criteria for evaluation The laboratory includes continuous assessment which is based on regular written and/or oral contributions by participants; teamwork plays a central role.
