Successful participants will on completion of the course
- know the overall design process of web-based information systems (content design, navigation design, presentation design)
- know about underlying technology of web-based information systems, such as HTML and XML
- be able to build web-applications accessing database systems

- Lectures on database design, database technology, and web engineering paired with practical exercises on relational database design and SQL
- Project work: Build a database and web site for a given case study.
