Objectives Students will acquire base knowledge of selected concepts and methods in production and logistics management and will be able to apply these methods and techniques to practical problems. Besides heuristic methods, an introduction to the Excel solver for exact methods is given. This course is a deepening of the course KS Produktion und Logistik.

Criteria for evaluation Examination; completed homework assignments (voluntary, extra credit for the examination)

  • Produktionsprogrammplanung: lineare Optimierung
  • Materialbedarfsplanung: ein- und mehrperiodisch, Newsvendor Problem
  • Losgrößenplanung, Terminplanung: Silver-Meal Heuristik, Netzplantechnik
  • Transportplanung: Spaltenminimummethode, Vogel-Approximation, Lineare Optimierung
  • Tourenplanung: Konstruktionsverfahren, Verbesserungsverfahren
