Competences
  • Students acquire the competence to understand the fundamental principles of social law, assess social insurance claims, and apply the legal prerequisites and entitlements in the areas of accident, pension, and unemployment insurance, as well as childcare allowance and long-term care benefits.
Skills Knowledge
  • Identify social law entitlements and apply them in practice-oriented cases (k4).
  • Assess the responsibilities and entitlements of different social insurance institutions (k5).
  • Analyse and apply benefits and eligibility criteria within accident, pension, and unemployment insurance systems (k4).
  • Basic principles of accident, pension, and unemployment insurance law, as well as childcare allowance and long-term care benefits.
Criteria for evaluation (*)Einstündige Klausur am Ende der LVA anhand von theoretischen Fragen. Nachklausur zu Beginn des nächsten Semesters.
Methods (*)Vortrag unter Einbindung von praktischen Beispielen, wobei eine aktive Mitarbeit durch ergänzende Fragen bzw. Verständnisfragen sehr erwünscht ist.
