The students are able to scientifically analyze business- and industry-specific information systems and to design and implement them according to the current state of the art.
Skills Knowledge
  • LO2: Students are capable of designing architectures of business- and industry-specific information systems (K3).
  • LO3: They master the design process of business- and industry-specific information systems and can implement them based on a selected platform and process knowledge (K4).
  • LO4: They are able to carry out the design process and implementation by acquiring domain knowledge and in collaboration with domain experts (K3).
  • LO5: They master the search for scientifically sound solution concepts for business- and industry-specific application problems (K3).
  • LO6: They can explain problems and techniques of accompanying organizational development (K2).
LO1: Business engineering and management techniques for developing business- and industry-specific information systems – examples are: leveraging implicit knowledge, process design, product life cycle applications, strategy development. Methodological knowledge: problem and potential development; introduction to structured information research and content analysis; development of evaluation grids, information preparation; problem/potential-specific processing of information found.
