Competences
Students are equipped to analyze, implement, introduce, and/or evaluate practical tasks of various kinds in (interdisciplinary) teams (for example, with regard to their economic, social, societal, legal, artistic, and cultural impacts, or their technical quality). They are able to reflect on and connect theoretical and practical aspects of digital projects. They recognize the need for an integrated socio-technical approach to solving real-world problems, particularly the integration of different disciplines while considering important contextual factors.

  • Application of Approaches to addressing a project-related digital task from an interdisciplinary perspective (technical, social sciences, business sciences, and legal disciplines) by applying methods, tools, and insights from the involved disciplines.
Criteria for evaluation The course has an inherent examination component. The assessment is based on the intensity and professionalism of the teamwork participation, as well as the results achieved (particularly the development outcome, project report, and final presentation).
Methods Based on a concrete project-related task, methods and tools from the respective disciplines will be practiced by following the various phases of a project process. (Partial) results will be developed, which will ultimately culminate in a comprehensive development outcome, a project report, and a final presentation.
