- LO2: Students are able address typical topics in the core area of software engineering on their own. They can acquire the necessary state-of-the-art specialized knowledge using current scientific literature and professionally present their results in written and oral form (K3).
- LO3: Fundamental techniques of scientific work, including literature research, structured analysis of scientific papers, and presentation of scientific findings, are mastered (K2).

Criteria for evaluation |
Assessment is based on a written term paper, an oral presentation and the participation in discussions and reflection of topics.

Methods |
An essential skill in writing scientific papers is the self-directed exploration of unfamiliar subject areas. To develop this skill, participation in the proseminar is self-guided, utilizing provided resources and interactive inputs and exercises during in-person sessions.
