  • Students will be able to acquire the necessary specialist knowledge in accordance with the current state of the art and science on the basis of current practical and scientific literature and will be able to present the results of their work in a professional manner both orally and in writing.
  • Basic techniques of scientific work, including literature research, structured evaluation of scientific work and presentation of scientific findings will be mastered.
Basic techniques of scientific work (e.g. literature searches in scientific and non-scientific databases, structured analysis of scientific work and presentation of scientific findings); structured deduction and analysis of real-life problems and phenomena; systematic approach to identifying, working on and solving problems.
Criteria for evaluation Assessment is based on the process, the results and their contribution to solve a real-world problem, a written term paper, different ways of presentation and the participation in discussions and reflection of topics.
Methods An essential skill related to the development of scientific papers is the self-directed work on novel topics. In order to train this ability, student participation is self-managed, including studying the provided resources and exercises, as well as presentations, in face-to-face classes.
