The students are able to analyze, specify and use suitable concepts and procedures for different problems in the context of developing distributed interactive systems using scientific methods.

  • LO2: Students can apply scientifically sound methods and tools for analyzing and constructing distributed interactive systems in practice (K3).
  • LO3: Students can reflect on methods and tools for analyzing and constructing distributed interactive systems using scientific methods (K4).
  • LO4: Students can put methods and tools for analyzing and constructing distributed interactive systems in new application contexts in a scientifically sound way (K4).
LO1: Scientific work, practical use of scientifically selected methods, procedures and tools for distributed systems, e.g. setting up application servers including servlet containers of server systems, protocol development, use of hypernet in the area of ​​web-based learning systems, cloud services.
Criteria for evaluation Seminar work (50%), presentation, implementation, and class participation (50%)
Methods Lectures and exercises on creating a seminar paper, individual or small group work guidance when preparing seminar work and final prototype.

Study material The tasks to be accomplished vary from term to term. The project-relevant literature needs to be obtained by the students, however, they are supported by the department with fundamental literature.
