Students know and understand the basic principles of wireless sensor networks, from wireless communication and the associated protocols to hardware requirements and power supply. Students know and understand the basic principles of radio-based localization of sensor nodes and can evaluate their localization accuracy. Students have an overview of current standards for wireless sensor networks.
