Students can describe the steps involved in producing microscopic specimens and the structure of the light microscope (K2) and explain its use (K3). They are familiar with the electron microscope (K1). Students can discuss the histological structure and the most important differential diagnostic features of epithelial tissue, supporting and connective tissue, muscle tissue and nerve tissue (K3).
