Knowledge |
• Designing Automated Driving Systems (k5)
Students can design and develop various aspects of automated driving systems, understanding the role and interaction of each functional module within the automation pipeline.
• Implementing Perception Modules (k5)
Students are able to implement perception modules, applying techniques for detecting, recognizing, and tracking objects in the environment using sensor data.
• Applying Sensor Fusion Techniques (k5)
Students can integrate data from multiple sensors (e.g., cameras, LIDAR, radar) using sensor fusion techniques to enhance the reliability and accuracy of the perception system in autonomous vehicles.
• Designing and Implementing Localization Systems (k5)
Students are capable of designing and implementing localization systems that determine the precise location of an autonomous vehicle in its environment, integrating sensor data to ensure accuracy.
• Understanding the Automation Pipeline (k4)
Students can analyze the automation pipeline in autonomous driving, understanding how the perception, decision-making, and control modules interact to enable automated driving systems.
