Competences |
| Upon successful completion of the class, students are able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles and established concepts in Semiconductor- and Solid State Physics, covering the areas listed in the lecture of the same name. They are able to apply general solution strategies to more complex problems in Semiconductor- and Solid State Physics, and systematically solve and discuss problems.
This lecture is methodologically complemented by the lecture Semiconductor- and Solid State Physics.

By attending the lecture, the students become familiar with the following skills: They are able to
- find solutions for physical problems in Semiconductor- and Solid State Physics, either on their own or together with colleagues (k3),
- apply concepts and methods to problems not discussed in the lecture by identifying and applying suitable physics methods (k3/k4),
- explain physics problems and concepts, as well as solution strategies (k2),
- present and discuss own ideas and solutions during the lecture to colleagues and teacher (k3/k4).
