After completing this course, students will be able to:
(i) to develop a specific thermofluiddynamic problem independently and on the basis of scientific principles,
(ii) to divide a complex problem into subtasks and to work on them cooperatively in small groups.
|
In particular, they are able:
(i) to review relevant scientific literature (k2, k3),
(ii) to define a complex question and to divide it into sub-points (k4),
(iii) to work on individual questions using analytical, numerical and/or experimental methods (k4, k5, k6),
(iv) to present the results of this work in a cooperative manner (k5), and
(v) to prepare an overall report of this cooperative work (k5).
|
The students know
(i) approaches and methods of scientific research,
(ii) thematic details on a (annually changing) current scientific topic of thermofluiddynamics.
