Skills Knowledge
  • Ability to find hydraulic drive concepts for given load and motion profiles (k1 -k6)
  • Ability to choose and size components in order to reach given static and dynamic performance properties (k1 -k5)
  • Ability towards design and implementation of hydraulic pressure and position feedback controls on the basis of linearized models and linear design methods (k1-k6)
  • Pumps and motors with special emphasis on the dynamics of variable displacement units
  • proportional and servo valves
  • feedback control design in valve controlled systems
  • secondary control with constant pressure system and variable displacement motors
  • fast switching valves and their application in digital fluid power
