Lernergebnisse |
Kompetenzen |
(*)1. Understanding Polymer Processing Technologies:
Students will develop a foundational understanding of continuous and discontinuous polymer processing techniques, enabling them to distinguish between methods and their applications. (K2)
2. Process Selection and Optimization:
Students are able to recommend appropriate polymer processing techniques for specific products and materials (e.g., PVC profiles, LDPE films, …), considering equipment, parameters, and end-product requirements. (K3)
3. Error Identification and Analysis:
Students can identify common production defects in plastic components, analyze their physical causes, and propose adjustments to resolve these issues. (K4)
4. Parameter-Property Relationships:
Students will understand how processing parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, cooling rate) influence the final properties of polymer products and apply this knowledge to optimize manufacturing processes. (K4)
