Detailed information |
Original study plan |
Bachelor's programme Electronics and Information Technology 2025W |
Learning Outcomes |
Competences |
Based on a fundamental understanding of semiconductor components, students are able to analyze and design basic circuits such as small signal amplifiers and oscillators.
|
|
Skills |
Knowledge |
- Calculation of circuits with semiconductor components (k5)
- Design of circuits with semiconductor components (k6)
- Synthesis of circuits for basic electronic tasks (k6)
|
Knowledge about
- physical foundations of semiconductors (semiconductor physics)
- diodes and bipolar transistors
- fundamental circuits (constant current source, current mirror, constant voltage source, etc.)
- differential amplifiers and operational amplifiers
- noise in transistors
- large signal behavior
- oscillators
- cascaded amplifiers
- bipolar logic circuits
- field effect transisstors (function and characteristics, fundamental circuits, logic circuits)
- the level is that of the recommended references and therefore is beyond that of knowledge taught at engineering high schools (HTL)
