The course focuses on the behavior of machine elements through selected experiments using modern measurement equipment:
- Fracture experiment on a torsional specimen
- Friction and heat-up of roller bearings
- Efficiency of gears (gear drive, belt gear)
- Start-up and heat-up of journal bearings
- Kinematic and dynamical transfer behavior of universal joints
