Competences
Students are able to research technical, legal and economic topics relating to mechanical engineering companies and their products from publicly available information and present them in presentations. Students know the importance of their technical education and the demands that will be placed on them in industry in the future. They know the fundamental aspects according to which successful products are developed and understand the difference between university research and industrial development and their interaction.

  • identify relevant information and present it in a structured and comprehensive manner (k4)

  • Structure and content of topic research (definitions, delimitation of the research question, elaboration)
  • Citing sources (literature, internet, interviews, AI tools, etc.)
  • Mechanical engineering tasks in companies and at the university (research, development, cooperation)
  • Factors of product development (market analysis, types of innovation, risks)
