Students are able to explain the constitutional and fundamental legal framework of resource use and resource justice and recognize connections to practice-relevant areas of law.
Skills Knowledge
  • explain the constitutional and fundamental rights framework of resource use and resource justice (k2)
  • deal with fundamental rights and democratic policy issues and develop solutions (k4, k6)
  • analyze and evaluate the case law on selected, practice-relevant areas of law in the field of resource use and resource justice (k4, k5)
  • public-law framework conditions for resource justice
  • instruments of resource allocation in public law (e.g. planning acts, certificates, auctions)
  • access to (non-)renewable raw materials under the aspects of security of supply, environmental justice and intergenerational justice
  • mechanisms of law enforcement
