(*)Students develop a comprehensive understanding of cell signaling events (within and between cells). Molecular mechanisms of ionic signaling, second messenger and transcription factor activation, phosphorylation and dephosphorylation in cellular signaling will be discussed. Students understand basics of cell signaling in the context of human diseases.
