Learning Outcomes
Competences
Students develop a comprehensive understanding of cell signaling events (within and between cells). Molecular mechanisms of ionic signaling, second messenger and transcription factor activation, phosphorylation and dephosphorylation in cellular signaling will be discussed. Students understand basics of cell signaling in the context of human diseases.
Skills Knowledge
  • Understanding the moleculular mechanisms of cellular signaling.
  • Identifying key objectives and methodologies in cell signalling research.
  • Basic concepts of cellular signaling.
  • Major findings, emerging fields, and novel views in cell signaling
