Objectives
Students acquire insights into the supply chain management field.They are familiar with fundamental and intermediate concepts,models, methods and approaches of supply chain management. Theyare able to formulate strategic, tactical and operational supplychain planning problems in a structured way and they are able toapply appropriate approaches to solve them.
Subject
The students have knowledge of fundamentals of model building, planning levels and supply chains. Introduction forecasting techniques, sales and operations planning, material requirements planning and scheduling. Fundamental and intermediate approaches to inventory management and distribution planning, network and facility location planning and supply chain management in general. Application of software tools for decision support.
