Detailed information
Original study plan Master's programme Mechatronics 2022W
Objectives After passing this course successfully, students will be able to:

  • design and develop different aspects of an automated driving system taking into account the role of each functional module on the automation pipeline.
  • Understand and implement use cases that pertain to the perception module and the sensor fusion and localization processes.
Subject This course will cover the main functional blocks that make possible the development of automated driving systems. Initially students will be introduced to the overview of an automated driving system and the role of each functional module on the automation pipeline. Afterwards, the course will focus on the perception module by explaining two fundamental processes: Sensor Fusion and Localization.
