Objectives Analytical calculations of the thermodynamic and rheological elementary processing steps for modeling and optimization of polymer processing.
Subject Introduction, Continuums Mechanics of Newtonian Fluids, Balance Equations, Thermodynamics, Rheology, Processing related Properties of Polymers, Isothermal and non-isothermal Flow of non-Newtonian Fluids, Melting, Mixing, Cooling, Viscoelastic effects in polymer processing.
