Original study plan |
Master's programme Mechatronics 2022W |
Objectives |
Students understand the interaction of mechanical and electrical fields in deformable dielectrics and know the underlying coupling mechanisms such as ferroelectricity, ferroelasticity, electrostriction and piezoelectricity.
Students are able to derive mathematical models for such electromechanical continua and they know how to compute solutions with numerical methods.
