Objectives To acquire practical skills in characterization of micro- and nanostructures with advanced high-resolution experimental methods.
Subject Practical experiments in electron microscopy, scanning probe microscopy, quantum dot spectroscopy and x-ray diffraction.
Criteria for evaluation Experimental work, results and written protocol.
Methods Practical experiments and solution of given problems using advanced experimental set-ups such as SEM, AFM and photoluminescence.
