Detailed information
Original study plan Master's programme Physics 2023W
Objectives Overview of important experimental methods of magnetometry. Understanding of the fundamental physical principles, fields of application, and complementary properties.
Subject Experimental methods for the detection of magnetic properties of matter (fundamentla physical principle, technical realization, examples of application). The lecture treats standard methods (e.g. SQUID, XMCD, MOKE) as well as "novel" methods with outstanding properties (e.g. single spin detection).
