Objectives During the course students will experience, understand and reflect dynamics on gender and diversity topics in groups and organizations and develop theory-based competencies in managing diversity. Upon successful completion of the course they will be able to combine insights from personal experiences with theoretical background on gender and diversity management.
Subject Dealing with gender and diversity in all its facets is an important precondition for leading innovative organizations. In this seminar, students will experience group processes and reflect on the role of gender and diversity as well as their own role in this regard. They will be provided with theoretical concepts; but most importantly they will be given room for discussion, feedback and self-reflection for their personal development in being able to deal more sensitively with topics of gender and diversity.
Criteria for evaluation Pre-Readings (20%) Attendance & Participation (50%); Post-Module Reflection (30%)
Methods Experience- and reflection-based learning through exercises, group work and discussions that allow for combining insights from personal experiences with theoretical background on gender and diversity.

Study material Readings will be provided for preparation and in class.
