Objectives As part of this course, a discussion of the topic "Gender and Diversity and business practice" should take place. On behalf of research, economy and society, different approaches of men and women must be used as a part of the diversity debate in companies. However, students must be made aware that diversity goes beyond mere gender issue. Furthermore, the potential opportunities should be identified therefrom.
Subject Students learn about the importance and relevance of gender and diversity in organizations. The focus is on the role gender and diversity play in management practice and the opportunities that arise from taking gender and diversity aspects into account. Among other things, the topics of gender equality, diversity, discrimination, inclusion in organizations and work culture will be discussed.
