Students learn about human capital theory and educational production and know the relevant theoretical models and empirical results. They are familiar with labor demand and labor supply and understand the applicability and limits of the microeconomic model of the labor market. The students learn how to apply economic theory and econometric techniques to examine policy questions in these areas.
