Objectives Sound knowledge of Algebra apart from introductory courses in linear Algebra and Introduction to Algebra is necessary for other mathematical disciplines or applications outside mathematics. Such knowledge will be developed for three main topics.
Subject Introduction to axiomatic Set Theory, Groups, Rings and modules, Fields
Criteria for evaluation In the exercise session, homework problems will be discussed.
