Subject Model problems of continuum mechanics: linearized elasticity and Stokes, weak formulation, saddlepoint problems, Babuska-Aziz and Brezzi Lemma, stable and instable finite elements, Fortin operator, iterative solvers for saddlepoint problems, preconditioning.
