| Objectives |
Students have hands-on experience in handling of RF components and measurement equipment required for the development of radar systems; They can implement different radar concepts and apply them to real-world measurements; They can verify radar theory results by means of measurements and implement radar signal processing algorithms in Python.

- Characterization of typical RF components used in radar systems;
- Automation of RF measurement equipment (GPIB, SCPI, ...)
- Practical implementation of FSCW, FMCW, and range-Doppler radar systems
- Measurement of range, velocity, and position
- System modelling, noise analysis, influence of practical hardware
imperfections
- DFT based signal processing algorithms in Python, including two-dimensional analysis for range-Doppler and beamforming applications
