|
Subject |
Physics 1 for Technicians Introduction to classical mechanics (kinematics and dynamics of the mass point, dynamics of rigid bodies, hydrostatics) and thermodynamics (ideal gas and the laws of thermodynamics)
CAD for Plastics Engineering Use of modern computer tools (CAx-tools) in the product development process, 3D CAD single part modeling (solid modeling), feature techniques, 2D drawing creation, creation of modules, advanced modeling techniques (eg Parametric Design), motion analysis
Introduction to Recycling of Plastics Starting with an overview of the various recycling pathways (energetic recycling, chemical recycling, and mechanical recycling) and the legislative frameworks, the course allows for insights in different process steps of the recycling pathways. Furthermore, effects of different process steps on the final material properties are shown.
Polymeric Materials 2: Polymer additives Basics in additivation and formulation of polymeric materials.
Physics Basic concepts and methods in the areas of optics, acoustics, and solid state physics.
Computer Aided Manufacturing - CAD-CAM Aspects of the CAD-CAM link, CNC manufacturing.
Introduction to Innovationmanagement and Marketing Basic features of the process flow of innovation Mangements, portfolio technology, IP Rights, product life cycle management.
Fluid Dynamics 1 Principles of fluid mechanics of incompressible fluids.
Business Administration Basics Value creation and value creation processes (the operational value cycle); Operational performance and operational financial system; The representation of operational performance and financial flows in accounting; Basic functions of corporate management; Theoretical approaches in business administration (e.g. systems theory, stakeholder theory, institutional economics approaches, etc.) and their significance for individual management areas
Natural Fiber Composites This course introduces all participants into the topic of processing, development of recipes, fundamentals and correlations of natural fibre reinforced polymers (NFC – Natural Fiber Composites, WPC – Wood Polymer Composites). Also the historical evolution, possible applications and current research topics will be discussed.
Introduction to the chemistry of plastics Understanding of molecular structure and estimation of reactivity of molecules. Understanding of basic reaction mechanisms.
