Objectives In this lecture the main fundamentals of theory of materials (micro-structure, properties, areas of use) for technical applications in the field of mechatronics shall be known.
  • Basics of metallic materials and allyoing with related to materials for mechanical and electrical engineering (electr. conductors and magnets)
  • Production and further processing of metals
  • Destructive and nondistructive testing
  • Ferrous materials
  • Non-ferrous materials, organic materials
  • Plastic materials, elctric. cunductors and magnetic materials
