Objectives
  • Students will expand on their knowledge of microeconomics and explore the material more in-depth
  • Students will learn and better understand base theory of microeconomics; material all economists should be well familiar with
Subject The course will first focus on consumer theory, incl. a review and in-depth study of mathematical methods. The course will then explore new topics that play a key role in the field of microeconomics and expand on material from the course "Ökonomische Entscheidungen und Märkte". Advanced theoretical models will be discussed which, for example, try to explore the optimal behavior of market participants in regards to asymmetric information or uncertainty decisions.
