Ziele (*)This workshop supplements the lecture "Chemical Reaction Engineering". Students will discuss problem solving tasks in order to enhance understanding of the course material.
Lehrinhalte (*)Physical and physicochemical basics of chemical reaction engineering (stoichiometry, thermodynamics, kinetics, adsorption/chemisorption, mass transfer), mass and heat balances, residence time behaviour, conversion calculations, dimensionless quantities, ideal reactors: batch reactor (BR), plug flow reactor (PFR), continuous stirred-tank reactor (CSTR), stirred tank cascade
Beurteilungskriterien (*)Successful completion of exercises and presenting work on the board in front of the class.
